Yum
Is that some candy I do see?
Oh my, oh me!
It's on an apple,
That it is...
Making me go yum!
Laid out upon my table
So simple, and tasty
I give a little munch
The lettuce it goes crunch!
Caesar salad is what I’m eating
Making me go yum!
Sitting in a little glass bowl
So shiny, and green
Alas a hint of red!
I’m going to make you dead
Olives so tasty and good
Making me go yum!
I peel your shiny wrapper
Chuckling to myself
My grandma doesn’t know it
But I took you from her shelf!
Eating you, my chocolate
So creamy and dark
Making me go yum!
Pluck away the green
Only want the red!
Splattered through with tiny seeds
Keep silent of my dirty deeds
As I steal the strawberries
From within my fridge, so clean
Making me go yum!
Fresh right from the over
Aroma’s drift throughout the house
Filled with tiny chocolate chips
I plop you in my mouth
Banana bread so warm and gooey
Making me go yum!
We eat you in October,
For Halloween you know?
In all your orange glory
Your makings rather gorey...
Pumpkin pie, freshly made
Making me go yum!
Gobble gobble
You once said
After eating, I’ll be in bed
For eating Turkey don’t you know
Is indeed a tiring feat, although it’s
Making me go yum!
Tasty foods,
They’re all around!
Reaching to the ceiling
From the ground
So many different flavours,
Colors and smells,
Each and every single one
Making me go yum!

Vivid!
Pick one stanza whose rhythm you love and rework the poem to fit that rhythm.
Now try for some irregular rhyme, for example, the every line before "Making me go yum!" will rhyme with the corresponding line in the next stanza. It doesn't have to be that pattern, but do you see what I mean?
That's awesome :)
Much better! :)
Erika you missed the most EPIC class ever lol
